Laika is a half-fox German shepherd, she has blue eyes. She always wears her collar with a bone-shaped medallion. She may also sometimes wear a police dog harness and outfits. Laika was born in «Forest of Foxes». Her mother was a fox and her father a German Shepherd. One day she woke up but her parents were gone. She waited several days but she didn’t see them until she realized they had disappeared. She then drove to the nearest town, Fields. Wandering the main streets, this little puppy was risking everything, but by chance, she came across a young trainee policeman who was on patrol. She was then brought back to the police station in search of her parents. She waited a week, a second, but still no news from her parents. While she was with the police, she was really passionate about this job from the first try, she watched with great attention her «brothers», the German shepherds, working there and going on a mission. Since her parents could not be found and other family members weren’t returning calls, she had to go to the orphanage, but the intern who had found her, Chase, begged his chief to take her to his parents’ house, with much hesitation, the chief accepted. Years passed, Laika was already grown up, she passed her baccalaureate at the police school and then obtained her police medallion. At the time, in the Republic of Ashford, only dogs of the German Shepherd and Malinois family were allowed to become police officers, since they were considered mission-proof, but everyone did not know that Laika was half fox , she kept it secret all the time. As soon as she arrived at her post, she wanted to finish the mission that the police had abandoned because it seemed impossible: to find the missing, including her parents. The cops thought she was crazy, but with the permission of the new boss, who was indeed Chase, she went on a mission. Laika then went to The Forest of Foxes, looking for the testimonies and clues. Suddenly, something closed around her leg and a cage fell on top of her. It was indeed the traps that the «dog thieves» had set up. She then woke up in a horrible place, it was a bit like a prison. Indeed, it was the camp of dog thieves, bandits of other species (like some reptiles, felines..)  who hated canines to the point of making them suffer by forcing them to work for them and exploiting them. Laika couldn’t walk and had no more strength, her bloody paw hurt too much. She stayed there all night, the next day several small dogs and foxes entered the cell she was in, suddenly she gasped. A very familiar smell reached her, this smell that she missed, that she hadn’t smelled for a very long time… She immediately recognized this white coat with red spots. Yes, it was indeed Jessika, her mother. She couldn’t believe her eyes, she got up somehow and went to join this fox to tell her everything.
