Description
Sylvestre is a gray shepherd, an old war veteran (used to be a patrol service dog). His fur is silver, from where he got his name. One of his eyes is blind. He has a very cold character. He’s very lonely. He always seems to have a neutral expression. His life and health are slowly deteriorating.
Backstory
He spent his life on the eastern side of Europe, more precisely in the GDR and in Siberia. He was born in 1954, in an horrible dog kennel. His mother was a Belgian malinois, born to produce puppies, his father was a working Eastern European Shepherd, he never met him.
He was bought at the age of one months and trained to be an army defense and attack dog in the field, he worked as a border patrol service dog and sometimes as a gulag guard. He knew nothing but violence and coldness.
He was doing a good job as a service dog until his own team of defense dogs turned against him, they considered him a traitor since he preferred to take an intruder dog as a hostage instead of finishing him off. He would be beaten to death but he survived. He went into exile and travel thousands of kilometers to the West, because the troops of General Vasiliev were looking for him.
He only returned to the Soviet zone after the Chernobyl accident…
